I didn't realize you could order "build your own" (from the dough up) pizza there. I can't remember what I ordered off the menu last time, but thought it was a bit on the sour side (must've been something with balsamic vinegar in it). This is an issue I have with many balsamic dressings, though, so it's probably just my own taste preferences.

Oh, in case you haven't been reminded a million times already, today is pi day. I'm sure pizza pie works, too.

Fireside Pies is fantastic, I've been meaning to blog about them...I live right down the street from the one near the Inwood Theatre.
"Build-Your-Own" is always a green light for me!
If you love mushrooms like I do, their mustard balsamic portabellas are a must-try.
And the fact that they have arugula to top their pizza just makes me swoon.
They have wonderful salads too that you can easily get sans cheese.

I am a mushroom FREAK--Love 'em! And I agree with you about arugula as a pizza topping! You should check out Bolsa in Oak Cliff...WOW!

Wait, am I missing something here? Pizza can be made vegan by omitting cheese AND sauce? That's no fun. :(

Ha! True story, Drew :D

Dallas has much better options for vegan pizza. PbM gets my vote!
