Hail Merry at Whole Foods

Hail Merry! I was so excited to find these products at my Whole Foods (Lomo Alto)! I used to have to drive out to Central Market twice a month to pick these goodies up. The Red Pepper Macadamia Dip and Choco Macaroons are great...but the Miracle Tarts are CRAZY AMAZING! I went to town on my set of chocolate and mint chocolate tarts tonight after yoga (I'll probably be wired all night).

Click HERE for more information on these deliciously raw (and local) treats.

Roy's Natural Foods on Preston and Royal also carries the Hail Merry products (as well as a good selection of other raw foods!).

I LOVE them as well ~ just picked up some chocolate tarts and macaroons yesterday. They're almost gone already...! hehe Yummers!

we don't have a WF here, but we have a pretty awesome co-op that carries a ton of different name brands and are super sensitive to the needs of us awesome vegans.

the cinnamon roll from the other day looks really good. we have something here once a month called a bake easy that's hosted by a crazy assed vegan where you pay $5 and bring art to trade and you can hook up with really cool vegan sweets. i missed the one last month, but you can bet your southern tuchus that i'll be at the one this month.

btw, i love your guide to vegan texas. i feel confident if i'm ever in dallas or austin that i'll survive. as for other areas, i'm a little scared.

Thanks, Katherine! I totally overdid it with those tarts last night...and I'll do it again :)

Jen- the cinnamon roll was pretty amazing! Cool co-op deal :) If you're ever in Dallas, drop me a line...I'd be more than happy to give you the vegan tour of Dallas! We'll start with Spiral Diner or Bliss Café so you can meet other awesome vegans in town :)

I suppose these are to blame for your chocolate hangover? :)

True story, Lisa! I should know better...yet I still bought another mint chocolate tart this afternoon. Can we say PROBLEM???

those looked yummy when I saw them @ Central Market, but *man*, they're expensive. I can understand if they're as good/raw/fresh/etc as they are though.

Hey Eddie, is Bliss open yet? I drive by there every now and then and can't tell...they're website still says "coming soon"...

I'm in Dallas for a couple of days for work. I may have to hunt those down.

Hi Jamey!

Dude--they're totally worth it! I'd even suggest splitting one with a friend. Half a tart is more than enough to keep you satiated for a good bit...wish I'd known that before my chocolate binge (massive chocolate hangover the next morning)! But that was worth it, too :)

Re: Bliss-
Not open yet. But keep your eyes peeled over the next week or so... :)

Jennifer!

Welcome back to Dallas :) You NEED to check out Spiral Diner while you're in town! Everything is vegan...you don't even have to ask. And do make sure to pick up some desserts on your way out :)

mmmm...splurged on a couple of these this evening. Extremely tasty!...although, I have to say I thought the regular chocolate one was better than the chocolate mint - but I wouldn't kick the chocolate mint out of bed (confusing?)

Funny, Jamey!

No judgement on this end :D

Lemon is so summery. I know you will be ready to sink in to this one. Have you tried the Green Papaya salad at Mango's on Lovers? YUMMM!
